1.2. Openkart's aim is to promote karting as a major motorsport discipline in Latvia and to give everyone the opportunity to participate in the Openkart Karting Championship (hereinafter referred to as the Competition). The Competition shall be conducted in accordance with the Internal Rules of Rental Karting Service Providers, which shall take precedence, and these 2025 Openkart Championship Regulations.

1.3.4. with regard to safety considerations, we will give special consideration to approving the participation in the Event of any junior who does not meet the age, minimum weight or driving experience criteria. In such cases, we require additional feedback from track personnel or representatives of the karting community as to the suitability and experience of the junior in question, or we ask the competitor to attend official training sessions to ensure that they are able to fit into the overall flow.
1.3.5 In individual cases, the Organisers reserve the right to allow or disallow a competitor to take part in the Event on a case by case basis.
1.4. the dates, times and more detailed information about the Race are published on the Openkart website <a href="http://<a href=" http:="" www.openkart.lv"="">www.openkart.lv</a></p><p>1.5. pre-registration for the Race takes place on the Openkart website <a href="http://www.openkart.lv">www.openkart.lv</a> in the special section Registration, by e-mail openkart@openkart.lv or by telephone by contacting the Organisers. </p><p>1.6 The entry fee per participant may vary depending on the specific course and format used. The entry fee for a particular Event will be indicated at the time of entry for that Event. </p><p><strong>2. Arrangements for Practice Races</strong> </p><p>2.1 Arrangements for Practice and Fees </p><p>2.1.1 For Openkart races, official practice sessions are organised before qualifying. Practice sessions are at an additional cost and the fee & mintest is determined depending on the track before each Race in the notes or on the openkart.lv website at the information for that particular Race. </p><p>2.1.2 Entrants must register for practice when registering for the Event and the entry fee must be paid prior to the start of practice. </p><p>2.2 Number of Practice Runs and Entry. </p><p>2.2.1 Official practice sessions are not compulsory, but the Organisers recommend that competitors taking part in an Openkart event for the first time or driving karts for the first time on a particular track should have at least one practice session to allow them to familiarise themselves with the track before qualifying. </p><p>2.2.2 Each competitor is guaranteed at least one practice session. </p><p>2.2.3 The number of practice sessions per competitor may be limited depending on the number of competitors, time available and number of karts. </p><p>2.2.4. Those competitors who are first to register for practice sessions may be given the opportunity to register for more practice sessions. </p><p>2.2.5 Only one guaranteed practice session may be registered remotely when contacting the Organisers and not on site. </p><p>2.2.6 The allocation of practice sessions is made on the spot and for those riders who have more than one practice session, the first practice session will be in the first few races. </p><p>2.3 Practice sessions and selection of karts. </p><p>2.3.1 Basically it is ensured that the karts are not chosen by the competitors in the practice sessions, but are allocated according to the practice schedule. </p><p>2.3.2 Practice sessions are also used to allow the Organisers to assess the condition of the karts and to select the most equal karts for qualifying and other races. </p><p>2.3.3 In the last practice sessions, the Organisers may ask the top drivers to test specific karts to assess their condition and make a decision on the choice of karts for racing. </p><p>2.3.4. A consortium of top drivers may be called in to select karts before qualifying begins and together with the Organisers and track personnel will select the list and number of karts to be used in the Race. </p><p>2.3.5 The use of weights in practice races is encouraged but not compulsory and is not controlled. </p><p><strong>3. </strong></p><p>3.1 The 2025 Openkart Championship will consist of 20 rounds, with the top 15 in points counting towards the standings. </p><p>3.2 The competition shall use one of 3 formats:</p><p>3.2.1 With two (or more) qualifying heats and one final heat (hereinafter referred to as the 2Q format);</p><p>3.2.2. With one qualifying heat and two heat races (one semi-final and one final heat each) (hereinafter referred to as 1Q format); </p><p>3.2.3. </p><p>3.3 The format used is determined by the characteristics of the track and the number of participants. The format to be used for a particular Event is indicated in the Calendar Notes line. Due to additional circumstances, e.g. a significant increase in the number of participants, the Race format may be changed on the day of the Race, at the latest by announcement during the participants' meeting. </p><p>3.4 The 2Q format consists of: </p><p>3.4.1 Two (or more) qualifying heats per rider, after which the starting positions of the competitors and the distribution among the final heats are determined; </p><p>3.4.2 One final heat per rider, which determines the distribution of places in the Race. </p><p>3.5 The 1Q format consists of: </p><p>3.5.1 One qualifying heat per rider, after which the starting positions of the competitors and the distribution among the semi-final heats are determined; </p><p>3.5.2 One semi-final heat per rider, after which the starting positions of the competitors and the distribution among the final heats are determined; </p><p>3.5.3 One final heat per rider, during which the distribution of places in the Race is determined. </p><p>3.6. Time attack format consisting of multiple entries per driver on the fastest lap with different go-karts (number of entries depends on the number of go-karts available on the track and the Organisers' decision), after which the placings in the Race are determined. </p><p>3.7 In qualifying, depending on the format used, the semi-final or final heat line-up and starting order shall be determined. </p><p>3.7.1. </p><p>3.7.2. Exception only in the 1st round of the championship, when the overall ranking of the previous season is taken into account; </p><p>3.7.2.2. then, in order of entry, competitors who have not competed in the 2025 Openkart Championship season but have competed in a previous season; </p><p>3.7.2.3. then, in order of entry, competitors who have not previously competed in an Openkart Championship event; </p><p>3.7.2.4. finally, those who, for whatever reason, had not entered by the closing date. </p><p>3.7.3 A competitor's qualifying time shall be the best lap time recorded in qualifying. If two or more competitors have the same qualifying time, then the higher place will go to:</p><p>3.7.3.1. in 1Q format, the driver with the 2nd fastest lap. If the 2nd fastest lap information is not available in the timing system, then the driver who is higher on the Entrants List.</p><p>3.7.3.2. in 2Q format, the driver who has the second fastest lap time in any of the qualifying heats, if this is also equal, then the driver who is higher on the Entrants List shall take the higher place. </p><p>3.7.4 Qualifying heats shall be conducted in reverse order of the Entrants List, except that the order of the Top 30 Entrants shall be drawn using a computer program to ensure a random distribution. In a 2Q format, the second or subsequent qualifying heats shall be conducted in reverse order of the overall results of the previous qualifying session. In events where there is a limit on the total duration of the event, subsequent qualifying sessions may be held in fixed line-ups. </p><p>3.7.5 In the event that no timing equipment is available on the track or is inoperative, qualifying for all competitors will be conducted in one kart over two consecutive flying laps. The qualifying time is the best of the two lap times. The time shall be taken with at least two hand stopwatches and the qualifying time shall be the average time between the two times recorded by the two stopwatches. </p><p>3.7.6 The format and length of qualifying runs may be altered at individual Events at the discretion of the Organisers to suit the specifics of the track, karting conditions. E.g. 3 qualifying heats, with each heat being scored and the winner of the qualifying heat being the driver with the lowest (or highest) points total. Joker lap may be used in some Races, with details in advance in the Calendar Notes line. </p><p>3.7.7 A competitor may not compete in qualifying but may qualify for the semi-finals or final. In this case, the competitor will be classified last in the qualification results. </p><p>3.8 The semi-final heats will determine the line-up and starting positions for the final heats. The following rules apply to the semi-final heats:</p><p>3.8.1. Before the start of the semi-final heats, the number of laps to be completed in the semi-final heats shall be determined. </p><p>3.8.2 The number of semi-final heats depends on the number of competitors qualified for the semi-final heats and the number of karts used for the heats, which depends on the number of karts available on the track, including 1 or 2 karts to be kept in reserve in case of technical problems. </p><p>3.8.3.The semi-final heats will be allocated on the basis of the qualifying results according to the following seeding principles, determined by the number of karts available on the track and the number of heats, but following the following principles ("snake" principle) described in the following example: If 16 drivers have qualified for the semi-finals and 7 karts are used in the semi-finals, the number of heats for the semi-finals will be determined first. 16 (number of drivers qualified for the semi-finals) divided by 7 (number of karts available) = 2.3, which means a total of 3 semi-final heats. 1. semi-finals will be contested by qualifying results - 1st, 6th; 7th; 12th; 13th place finishers ; 2nd semi-finals - 2nd; 5th; 8th; 11th; 14th place finishers and 3rd semi-finals - 3rd; 4th; 9th; 10th; 15th; 16th place finishers.
3.8.4 The semi-final heats in which the 1st place finisher has the lowest qualifying position shall be held first, the semi-final heat in which the winner of the qualifying heat shall start last. The numbering of the semi-final heats shall follow the example given in the previous paragraph, in the order of heats 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
3.8.5 The first place finishers in the semi-final heats shall complete Final Heat A, then Final Heat B, then Final Heat C, etc... The starting order for the final heats shall be determined on the basis of the higher place of the winner of the semi-final heat who finished higher in qualifying.
3.8.6 If, due to lack of places for the final heat, all the runners-up in the semi-final heat cannot qualify for the final heat due to the number of karts available on the track, then the runner-up with the better qualifying result will take precedence.
3.8.7 The format and length of semi-final heats may be altered in individual Events by decision of the Organisers to suit the specifics of the track, kart conditions. E.g. 2 semi-final heats per driver, with each heat receiving points and the overall winner of the semi-final heat being the driver with the lowest (or highest) points total.
3.9. The final heats shall be held according to the following rules:
3.9.1 Each of the final heats shall last not less than 10 minutes. Before the start of the final heats, the number of laps to be completed in the final heats shall be determined.
3.9.2 The competitors shall be allocated to the final heats according to the results of the qualifying or semi-final heats, depending on the format used.
3.9.3 The number of final heats depends on the number of competitors and the number of karts used in the heats, which depends on the number of karts available on the track, including 1 or 2 karts to be kept in reserve in case of technical problems.
3.9.4 The final heats for the lowest places are held first, with the final heat A being held last to determine the Race Winner. The remaining final heats, depending on their number, are called Final Heats B, C, D, etc.
3.9.5 Due to the condition of the karts, the number of karts used in the lower Final heats may be greater than in the higher A and B etc Final heats. Basically the aim is to ensure that the most equivalent karts are used in the higher final heats before a particular final heat.
3.9.6 The winner of each final heat, with the exception of heat A, shall be eligible to enter a higher heat (e.g. the winner of heat C shall be eligible to enter heat B).
3.9.7 At the discretion of the Organisers, the lowest finishers in Final B (e.g. after finishing 2nd or 3rd etc.) may also be eligible to compete in Final A. In this case, the Organisers shall inform the competitors of this arrangement no later than before the start of the B Final.
3.10. The Time Attack format shall be as follows:
3.10.1 Each competitor shall make one time attack of a specified number of karts for a specified number of minutes during the Competition.
3.10.2 The best lap times of the competitor in each kart are counted together. The result of the Event shall be the sum of these best lap times and the winner of the Event shall be the competitor with the lowest sum of lap times.
3.10.3 If two or more competitors have the same Race result, the competitor with the best lap times in the heats shall be placed higher. If this is also equal, then the lap time in the next race with the next best lap time, etc.
3.10.4 The number of karts and the time allowed for each kart shall be determined prior to the Race. The total running time for the Race shall be a minimum of 24 minutes, however the Organisers reserve the right to set a different total running time for each driver for individual Races by informing the competitors on the Openkart website and in the Calendar Notes line;
3.10.5 All races start and finish in the pit lane;
3.10.6.The list of competitors registered for the event shall be made up by the competitors, who shall be registered according to the same principles as described in clause 3.7.2 of these Regulations;
3.10.7.The line-ups and the order in which the competitors are to race shall be determined by the List of Competitors in reverse order. The Organisers reserve the right to change the line-ups to ensure that weights are available to all riders and to ensure that the strongest riders registered for the event are placed in the middle of the entry list.
3.10.8 In this format, karts will not be drawn before the heats. The order in which karts will be raced and in what order will be determined by the position on the Entrant List;
3.11.The start for the semi-final and final heats may be given in 2 ways - start from a standing start or start on the run. The way in which the start is given is determined by the characteristics of the particular track. In general, the start on the course is used and is not indicated separately, but if the start from the spot is planned, it is indicated before the respective Event in the Calendar Notes line. In principle, the start is given by the start green flag and the finish by the finish black/white checkered flag, but the start and finish may also be given by a signal agreed in advance at the competitors' meeting, e.g. traffic lights.
3.12. Starting procedure
3.12.1 The competitors in a particular heat shall first be lined up in starting order to start the warm-up lap, which may be a partial lap if necessary.
3.12.2 In the warm-up lap, the drivers cannot change order and the kart warm-up must be carried out without abrupt changes of movement. If a driver turns during the warm-up lap, that driver shall attempt to return to his/her starting position and the other drivers shall not be prevented from doing so.
3.12.3 The organisers shall announce at the competitors' meeting the section of the course within which all races will start. In certain cases, this section of the course may not include the start finish line. The meeting shall also indicate the point to which the kart is allowed to warm up and after which the formation for the start of the course shall begin. Formation means that the 1st driver in the line of drivers fixes the approximate trajectory (which may also be changed several times) and a certain speed, which is kept constant without twitching until the Organisers' representative drops the starting green flag. All other drivers shall, during the formation, until the starting green flag is dropped, drive in a precise line behind the kart in front, with a maximum gap of approximately 2 wheel courts between karts. Changes of trajectory (not applicable to the 1st driver in line) and speed may only be made on the signal of the starting green flag. If the Organisers consider that there has been a breach of procedure by any rider during formation, the start of the race will be cancelled and the procedure repeated at the start. Each lap of the cancelled start reduces the total number of laps scheduled for the Race. A driver may be penalised 1 place if this procedure is repeatedly broken.
3.13. Kart draw
3.13.1 The karts in which the competitors participate in each race are determined by a draw held prior to the race and conducted by the Organisers.
3.13.2 A competitor may not start in the same kart as in a previous race. If a competitor draws a kart from a previous race, it will be exchanged for the next competitor's kart in the protocol.
3.13.3 It is not necessary to redraw the kart for the last competitor in each heat.
3.14.Fastest lap in semi-finals and finals
3.14.1 In the event that two or more drivers have the same fastest lap time in a semi-final or final heat, the driver with the 2nd fastest lap time in that heat, etc., shall be placed higher in the fastest lap standings. If the 2nd fastest lap time information is not available, then the driver who finished in the highest position overall after the respective semi-finals or finals shall be placed higher in the fastest lap standings.
3.14.2 If a driver wins one of the final heats and competes in a higher heat, then in the overall fastest lap standings for the final heats the driver shall start only with the lap time recorded in the higher heat.
3.14.3 In some cases, if more than 10% of the drivers do not record the fastest lap (e.g. due to transponder error), the fastest lap may not be counted in that race at the discretion of the Organisers.
3.15. Force Majeure - The Organisers reserve the right in the event of an emergency (e.g. adverse weather conditions or other safety considerations) to postpone the start of the Race, suspend the Race, alter the duration of the Race or even cancel the Race altogether.
3.16. In the Competition, points will be awarded to competitors for places in the final heats and Time attack format according to the following system:

3.17. If a rider is disqualified from the final heat, no points will be awarded for that Heat.
3.18. If a place penalty is awarded to a rider who placed last in the relevant Final Heat, the rider's place will not be reduced, but the entry points will be reduced in accordance with the place penalty awarded.
3.19.
3.20. In each Event, the first three places individually, the winners of each Final heat (except Final A), the best team individually, the first three places in the team standings are awarded.
3.21.If two or more competitors have the same number of points in the season standings, then the competitor with the highest place in any of the Races (the number of times each of the competitors has won the highest position is also taken into account) shall be placed higher; if this is the same, then the next best result is compared, and so on. (not starting an Event is considered a worse result than any place won), if these are also equal, then the participant who has won the higher place the fastest shall take the higher place.
3.22. In the overall standings of the season, the first six places in the individual Openkart Championship will be awarded.
4. General safety, behaviour during and at the competition
4.1. All competitors taking part in the Event, even if they have not completed & signed the Individual Responsibility Policy, must observe the utmost safety, fairness and sportsmanship, and all competitors and their accompanying persons undertake to observe high standards of respect and mutual courtesy (on and off the track), including:
4.1.1 Respect for the Organisers, officials, track personnel, other participants and spectators;
4.1.2. considerate care for the infrastructure of the Event, the equipment available and the karting machinery provided. It is categorically forbidden to deliberately damage the technical condition of the kart;
4.1.3 Participant shall attend the meeting of participants (mandatory) and the award ceremony (preferable).
4.1.4 The driver shall not cause deliberate collisions and shall fight for position in accordance with the rules of correct fighting as stipulated in paragraph 6 of these Regulations, which are set out at the participants' meetings before each of the Events or separately before the semi-final or final races;
4.1.5 A rider shall ride only in the direction indicated on the track and in the pit lane. The option to ride in the opposite direction may be used on the track or in the pit lane, but only if it is in a flow designed by the Organisers before or after a race;
4.1.6 A rider shall ride only on the prescribed track configuration, respecting the track boundaries as specified in clause 7 of these Regulations.
4.1.7 A rider may not intentionally go outside the course boundaries.
4.1.8 A rider shall ride at a safe speed (half-gas) in the pit lane;
4.1.9 The rider shall observe maximum caution while on the track, in the pit lane and off the track;
4.1.10.The rider shall follow and obey the signals given by the flags during the Race;
4.1.11.A rider who is overtaken on a lap shall pass another rider as quickly as possible, even when blue flags are not displayed;
4.1.12.At the start of practice races, competitors not taking part in a particular race are strictly forbidden to be on the track without being invited by the Organisers. It is possible to move around the track, but with caution and without standing too close to the outside edges of the corners.
4.1.13.A competitor shall participate in the Competition without being under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
4.1.14.The Participant shall comply with the Rental Karting Service Provider's and general safety rules;
4.1.15.The Participant shall resolve disputes in a fair manner, if necessary by mediating with the Organisers or judges;
4.1.16.It is strictly forbidden for a Participant to touch, hold or handle the kart of another Participant during any race;
4.1.17.A driver shall not, during any race, simultaneously release both hands from the steering wheel of the kart.
4.1.18.If these general safety rules are not observed, the Organisers shall be entitled to apply any necessary sanctions and penalties, including disqualification of the competitor from that particular race or the whole Event.
5. Flags and other media used in the Competition
5.flags are used to signal the start & finish and to warn riders of the situation on the course.
5.2:

5.3. In Openkart races, boards may be used to indicate the number of complete laps remaining to the finish of the race. This number of laps is for information only, as the official finish signal is given by the finish flag.
6. Judging and penalties.
6.1. consultant referees may be used to judge the race and to ensure that off-course competitors and on-course competitors comply with the rules referred to in paragraph 4 of these Regulations. Failure to comply with these rules shall be reported by the officials to the Organisers. The Organisers shall decide on the penalty, consulting the officials if necessary.
6.2.
6.2.1. penalties for incidents involving more than one rider;
6.2.2. penalties for individual rider infringements on the track;
6.2.3. penalties for individual behaviour on or off the track by a competitor or his representative.
6.2.4. penalties for a rider's regular offences on the track if they involve causing collisions, deliberate infringement of the rules or unsporting behaviour. If a competitor has received a real place penalty in 3 different Openkart Championship Rounds within the last 5 Rounds of the season (but excluding e.g. cautions, Joker infringements, early starts), the competitor will be subject to the additional penalty of being placed last on the Entries List before qualifying for the next Race after receiving the last place penalty.
6.penalties for incidents involving more than one rider are assessed basically according to the following principles:
6.3.1 No overtaking manoeuvre may be made at the expense of contact. A driver making an overtaking manoeuvre must have at least half a kart in relation to the overtaken vehicle before starting the overtaking manoeuvre, which gives him the right to the inside shoulder. There must be no significant knocks or shoves to the rear of the driver in front which knock him off course or off the track altogether, or in the worst case even cut him off, giving him an advantage in the overtaking manoeuvre. It is also considered an incorrect overtaking manoeuvre if the rider does not gain position in a particular corner, but gains an advantage in order to overtake in the following corners.
6.3.2 Collisions shall not be caused deliberately. A deliberate collision is one which has excluded the possibility of a successful overtaking manoeuvre at the time the overtaking manoeuvre is initiated.
6.3.3 If an incorrect overtaking manoeuvre results in the injured driver losing more than one place, a higher penalty may be imposed.
6.3.4. No overtaking manoeuvre may be defended against by changing the path of travel more than once.
6.3.5 A driver who has any part of the body of his kart in the same plane as the driver's kart must not be pushed off the track within the straight.
6.4. The following penalties may be adopted by the Organisers depending on the nature, severity, effect on the drivers involved and the types of infringements referred to in 6.2:
6.4.1 Warning or, after a certain number of warnings, one of the penalties mentioned in the following paragraphs;
6.4.2. Basically 1, 2 or 3 place penalties will be given, depending on the severity of the infringement and the impact on the riders involved.
6.4.3 Award of penalty seconds. Basically a 2 second penalty will be awarded in qualifying for infringements of track boundaries;
6.4.4 Cancellation of lap time;
6.4.5 Reduction or cancellation of points scored;
6.4.6. Award of a starting place penalty in the final heat of the next Event;
6.4.7 Placing lower on the Entrants List before qualifying heats;
6.4.8 Disqualification from a particular heat or from the Competition as a whole;
6.4.9 Exclusion from further participation in the Openkart Race.
6.5. During the race, decisions on penalties given may be made on-site at the track for the following incidents:
6.5.1. for semi-final incidents up to the start of the final race;
6.5.2. for incidents involving the winners of the final heats until the start of the next final heat;
6.5.3. for pylon infringements in qualifying and racing races, decisions will be made only on the spot at the track.
6.6.The decision taken by the organisers on the spot shall take effect immediately but may be reviewed after the Event. After the Race, all available video footage (drone, on-board, phone cameras etc.) will be reviewed, the opinions of competitors, officials or other relevant parties will be heard as necessary and final decisions of officials on penalties or cautions given & waived for previous Races will be made within 7 full days after the Race, but no later than 1 day before the next Race. If there are any judges' decisions for a particular Race, the previously published unofficial results shall be corrected and the published official results shall be corrected and no further changes shall be made. If the list of competitors awarded changes after the official results have been published, it is the competitor's responsibility to change or return the awards to the Organisers.
6.7. If a rider is awarded both a Penalty Place Penalty and a Penalty Second Penalty during the same heat, the Penalty Second Penalty shall be applied first and then the Penalty Place Penalty.
6.8. If a penalty is awarded to the winner of a Final heat (except Final A) or any Semi-Final after the Event, then the penalty not awarded to the rider in the official results shall be awarded in the final heat of the Final and in addition a 3 place penalty shall be awarded in the next Heat in the Final Heat Order of Finish.
7. Course limits.
7.1. The respect of the course boundaries is judged differently on outdoor and indoor courses.
7.1.1 On indoor courses, the course boundaries are mainly defined by the tyre fences, which are also defined as course boundaries. Failure to respect them can lead to dangerous situations, but usually only impairs the lap times and pace of the competitors. However, deliberate disregard of the track boundaries or displacement of the fence may be penalised.
7.1.2 On outdoor tracks, the track boundaries are mainly defined by the edge of the tarmac (with or without white line markings), by placed kerbs on the inside of corners or by braking lanes on the outside edges of the track.
7.2. Drivers are prohibited from deliberately driving outside the track boundaries, the body of the kart must be within the track boundaries. The permissible overrun of the track boundaries is within 20cm and in order to indicate more precisely the permissible limits of deviation the Organisers may place tyres or signal pylons with the outer edge placed 20cm from the track boundaries at certain places on the track, but mainly at the inner edges of the tracks behind the inner safety kerbs (kerbs) and at the outer edges of the tracks at the end of the braking lanes.
7.3. Penalties may be imposed for deliberate infringements of track boundaries, shortening the track, gaining lap time, creating dangerous situations or damaging karting equipment. If during one heat a driver shifts (across the pylon width) or knocks over a signal pylon twice during one heat without the involvement of other drivers (including from behind trying to get into the inside edge), the following penalty will be awarded:
7.3.1. in qualifying, an additional 2 seconds will be added to the qualifying time for that heat;
7.3.2. during the semi-final or final heat - 1 place penalty
7.4.It is strictly forbidden to catch the wheels on the inside of the safety kerbs.
8. Participant's equipment.
8.1.
8.2. It is compulsory to wear a safety helmet, which is usually also available at the venue. A personal helmet with full face and chin protection is permitted
8.3. Each rider has the right to use his/her own other equipment during the Race - overalls, gloves, shoes, neck supports, rib guards, etc. Some Rental Karting providers offer the use of track suits, gloves, raincoats etc., in which case all track equipment used must be fully returned after the Race.
9. Use of weights.
9.weights are used in the Competition to balance the weight, the minimum reference weight being 85.0 kg, to which all Competitors are assigned.
9.participants may choose to use weights provided by the Organisers or Rental Karting Service Providers as additional weights or weights available at the tracks, which must be placed in the designated places in the kart body. In exceptional cases, the use of personal weight chairs is permitted, provided that their weight is determined in the presence of the Organisers.
9.it is the responsibility of the competitor to place the necessary extra weights in the kart before the race, and to remove and return them to the storage place after the race;
9.4. weight chairs provided by the Organisers weighing 5kg, 10kg and 15kg, as well as soft chairs provided by the Rental Karting Service Providers (2.5kg basically) and weights to be placed in the kart bodies weighing 2.5kg, 5kg and 10kg are basically used.
